Epictetus 50 - 135 ADOnly the educated are free.” Epictetus

My name is Gary Wood and I currently have four goals in developing this site.

  • Develop one place for the News Feeds I visit and share most often
  • Develop one place for learning resources focused on self-governing liberty
  • Restart a personal blog featuring my rants and views on the news of the day
  • Host a true discussion / debate forum easier to use than a social media page

The news feeds are active for several sources already. I am currently updating some of the rants and views I’ve penned over the years that sparked excellent discussion when they were first published. After updates, my goal is to continue sparking serious reflection, consideration and discussions.

All feeds, personal posts and guest posts are found under “Liberty News” in the menu.

For the learning resources, I have installed LearnPress. I’m populating and working at growing available content. The first sample course, Rediscovering U.S. History, is ready to view the course description page. Actual registration and participation will go live once I publish the completed course.

My goal is to grow more courses (journey’s of opportunity) from past, current and future presentations. In time, sooner rather than later (toes crossed), I hope others will reach out to share, instruct, and guide discussions (perhaps moderate debates) based on their current understandings, beliefs, and convictions.

All courses are found under Courses in the menu (original ~ no?)

Registration will be launched as soon as I am able to complete a full testing of the website during this soft launch period currently underway.

The discussion and debate forum will be added once I complete a review of available software, install it, and setup an initial framework. Once active, a new menu item will be created as well.

As this new project develops and grows, all who are respectful to one another will ever be welcomed!

Thank you for visiting and don’t forget to check out the news feeds while you’re here, you may get some enjoyable read time in while sparking ideas for discussions, debates, or journeys of your own to share.
