Bowman says, "Charles sold his farm in Blooming Grove and bought another place about four miles from there[.] he moved only a few weeks before his wife died[.] she had consumption. Our Mary was out there on a visit last fall, she came from there in October, his wife was not well but did a great deal of work. I think the moving was too hard for her."
