DEATH: GEORGE[0] ROBERT HALES[0] George[0] Robert Hales[0] returned to our Heavenly Father on April 10, 1996. He was born on October 5, 1905 in Riverside, Utah, the eldest son of George[0] Robert and Kate Kennard Hales[0]. He married Jean Booth in the Logan LDS Temple on January 23, 1924. Jean died on February 13, 1989. He married Cora L. Nielson, January 27, 1990.Mr. Hales[0] spent his adult working years as a dedicated employee of Utah-Idaho Sugar Company serving in various locations including Belle Fourche, South Dakota; Toppenish and Moses Lake, Wash.; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Garland, Utah, completing his service as asst. general supervisor of the company. He was active member of the LDS Church and had served as a sealer in the London Temple while on a mission with his wife, Jean. They also served as ordinance workers in the Ogden and Logan LDS Temples. Mr. Hales[0] is survived by his wife of Logan, four children, Shirley (Alten) Davis, St. George[0]; G. Robert (Virginia) Hales[0], Bellevue, Wash.; Bette (William) Perrault, San Jose, Calif.; Max D. (Marie) Hales[0], Logan; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brother, Henry A. (Ester) Hales[0], West Jordan; Stephen A. (Glenna) Hales[0], Tremonton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one grandson. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15, 1996, 12 noon at the Garland Tabernacle, 140 W. Factory, with Bishop William L. Rose, officiating. Friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10:15-11:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 East, Tremonton. Interment in the Riverside Cemetery.
